The CCP Visual Arts and Museum Division (VAMD) is looking for an Exhibitions Associate beginning January 2023. 

The Exhibitions Associate is an essential member of the CCP VAMD whose tasks center around ensuring that all design collaterals produced by the division are of high quality and consistent with the curatorial concept of exhibitions and other programs. The Exhibitions Associate works closely with the members of the CCP VAMD, the CCP Marketing Department, and with artists, curators, designers and other collaborators of the division to produce relevant and engaging digital and printed materials, for the diverse audiences of the CCP. The Exhibitions Associate is also in charge of photo and video documentation of all CCP VAMD exhibitions and programs.

   
   
   
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, or give recommendations on given designs, of printed and digital collaterals for exhibitions and other projects, including but not limited to invitations, brochures, catalogs, exhibit layouts, wall texts, captions, zoom frames and slides, and other promotional and educational materials; 
  • Coordinate the approval and printing of materials necessary for exhibitions and other projects based on specifications agreed upon by VAMD and collaborators; 
  • Ensure that all materials are readily available in exhibition spaces and in other locations on site and online, including ; 
  • Ensure proper photo and video documentation of all artworks, exhibitions and events and ensure proper filing of documentation with VAMD CAO III; 
  • Work closely with the VAMD team and the CCP Marketing Department in creating content, managing, and monitoring VAMD’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram);

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Compiles financial information of monthly reports of disbursements and checks issued and schedule of accounts payable.
  2. Records, classifies, and summarizes related financial transactions and events in the subsidiary ledger in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  3. Prepares monthly schedules of accounts per trial balance.
  4. Adjusts/reclassifies reconciling items using proper account codes.
  5. Applies working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, accounting and auditing principles and standards.
  6. Prepares monthly bank reconciliation statements correctly.
  7. Performs assigned accounting and related clerical support functions diligently, such as filing, typing, encoding, generating/printing reports, etc.
  8. Expedites monthly filing of original copies of checks/disbursement vouchers.
  9. Prepares journal entries of related transactions.

FUNCTIONS
  1. Discusses and plans with the Division Chief III media plan for high impact artistic events of the CCP and strategies to be used for maximum and positive publicity on the CCP, as well as to neutralize negative publicity.
  2. Assists the Division Chief III in planning and implementation of Press Conferences, briefings and other media related activities to ensure balanced publicity of all CCP produced shows and events.
  3. Supervises the Print Unit and oversees and ensures the efficient delivery of output of the unit. Edit feature stories, press releases, speeches, messages for souvenir programs, institutional materials, and CCP News Bulletin.
  4. Plans and produces content materials for CCP website Press Room.

FUNCTIONS
  1. Facilitates the completion of required documents necessary in the administration of scholarship programs, including payment, allowances and other remunerations.
