DESCRIPTION:

The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) goes to San Bartolome Parish Church in Malabon City for an intimate evening of uplifting music to be performed at the church’s sacristy. The 408-year-old church has recently been declared by the National Museum of the Philippines as “Important Cultural Property” (ICP). This special concert features world-class Filipino artists such as Kabataang Gitarista, a young guitar ensemble; Jobry Cimafranca, “viocalist;” and the renowned Male Ensemble of the Philippines (MEN).

Co-presented by the CCP, San Bartolome Parish, and the City Government of Malabon, HUNI MULA SA SACRISTIA is part of the CCP Office of the President’s outreach program that aims to cultivate and enhance public interest in and appreciation for arts and culture, and bring the arts closer to the masses, especially in the regions.
