 DESCRIPTION:

The Cultural Center of the Philippines joins the celebration of Parkinson’s Awareness Month with Sining Galing: Dance for Parkinson’s with Novy Bereber, a dance program made for people with Parkinson’s Disease. Formerly a Ballet Philippines choreographer and dancer and now a Sydney-based dancer and teacher of Sayaw PD, Novy Bereber has developed a community that loves to learn dance not just for its physical benefits but also for appreciation on an artistic level, through his dance program. This art-based program, composed of a one-hour dance class, takes dance as a form of therapy through artistic ways with the help of Bonnie and Lady Dazha.
