 DESCRIPTION:

PROGETTO PUCCINI 2024 offers a series of transformative opera masterclasses, culminating in a concert honoring Giacomo Puccini. This event brings together renowned mentors and rising Filipino talents to refine their craft in vocal technique, Italian diction, interpretation, and stagecraft.

Led by Maestro Fabio Armiliato, with mentors Mariano Panico, Lorna Zaccaria, and John Florencio, the masterclasses will be held for selected participants that include National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) winners and upcoming opera singers from Viva Voce’s production of La Bohème. Aspiring classical singers, students from leading music schools, universities, and conservatories, and opera enthusiasts will have the opportunity to observe the sessions to gain invaluable insights from the maestros and further enrich local opera performances, fostering the next generation of opera performers.
