The Cultural Center of the Philippines in partnership with the Society of Filipino Archivists for Film (SOFIA), the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), and FPJ Archives presents CCP Cine Icons, which honors the 100th Birth Anniversary of the late National Artist for Film, Eddie Romero.  Shortly after marking its first anniversary, the CCP Cine Icons returned for the premiere of yet another must-see classic Filipino film Aguila, written, produced and directed by National Artist Eddie Romero and starring another late National Artist for Film, Fernando Poe, Jr., on April 3, 1:00 PM at the GSIS Theater.  A talkback will follow after the film screening.

This series of screenings in different venues is curated to pay tribute to NA Eddie Romero, and enjoin everyone in the SOFIA’s Audio-Visual (AV) archiving advocacy and AV heritage preservation, in general.
