VIRGIN LABFEST VISAYAS: LAB-AS

Venue: CCP @ the Negros Museum, Bacolod City

The Virgin Labfest in the Visayas is a week-long festival to be held in Bacolod City. It will feature unpublished, unstaged, untried and untested works for the theater of Visayan playwrights. Featured plays are “Ang Sweatshop, ang Aparador kag ang Pinakatig-a nga Ismaggol sa Bilog nga Kalibutan” by Jasper Villasis, “Sa Likod sang Maskara” by Fundador Tipon II, “Victim” by Vicente Garcia Groyon, “Dorm 425” by Venise Buenaflor, “Kapoy Nako Mangin Superhero” by Roger Joshua Venzal and “Sin-o ang Naglansang Kay Kristo” by Rocky Nicor.

VLF Visayas will open opportunities for Visayas based directors, actors, theatre practitioners to collaborate through a production of 6 original Visayan plays/productions and for these performances to be performed in various parts of the Visayas.
