WifiBody is a choreographers’ competition for the solo-duet form. It is the first tier of the CCP Choreographers’ Series, a three-part platform in support of the Filipino choreographer. The competition is for the solo-duet form because we believe that the intimacy and conciseness of these forms pushes choreographers to bare their choreographic vision.

WifiBody 2020 explores the virtual body in the time of COVID-19. Finalists for this year’s solo-duet competition are ‘troubleshooting’ the choreographic practice. They’re taking the discourse of the solo-duet form further, that in current circumstances, such limitations can actually deepen the choreographic process. Under the direction of Myra Beltran, WifiBody dedicates itself to discovering new choreographic talent and featuring emerging choreographers.
