CCP’s FESTIVAL Of PLAYS BY WOMEN is a three-day festival that puts the spotlight on stories about women by women through staged readings and featured performances of women’s plays, and a forum. With the theme “Empowerment, Diversity and Equality,” the festival will also have workshops, a creators’ market, and interviews with renowned playwrights. The project also seeks to inspire women to write, visualize their own stories and energize them to believe in their own talent in writing, producing and acting. This event is the flagship project of the CCP’s Gender and Development (GAD) Committee for 2020.
