IN line with the celebration of Women’s Month 2020, the CCP Visual Arts and Museum Division will present a crystal-making workshop with exhibiting artist Samantha Feleo on March 21, Saturday, from 3-5pm at the CCP 4th floor.
The workshop includes a short lecture on what crystals are, how they form, and the processes in crystal-growing, and the actual application of how to make your own crystals using household materials, creating a super saturated solution, and preparing the substrate and specific conditions for growth. Materials will be provided.
The workshop is free of charge, but will have a maximum number of 20 participants only. Only those aged 12 years old and above may join. Interested parties may register at ccp.exhibits@gmail.com.
This Crystal-making Workshop also serves as the closing activity of Feleo’s exhibit The Horizon of Expectations, which may be viewed until March 22, 2020 at the Bulwagang Victorio Edades (Small Gallery) and 4th floor Atrium. Viewing hours are 10am to 6pm (Tuesday to Sunday). Hours are extended until 10pm on days with evening performances at the CCP Main Theater.
