CCP TANGHAL PANITIK CONTINUES CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINE CHILDREN’S LITERATURE IN CAVITE

After the successful National Children’s Book Day event at the Tanghang Ignacio Gimenez, the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) continues the celebration of Philippine children’s literature with Ang Tanghal Panitik sa Cavite on July 27, 2024 at 3:00PM at the Nuestra Senora dela Paz Buen Viaje Parish (Addas II, Bacoor, Cavite).

A program initiated by the CCP Board of Trustees, Ang Tanghal Panitik will bring to life and celebrate the rich Philippine culture in its literature. It is also meant to deepen the understanding and give importance in the children’s literature.

Along with the Cavite Young Writers Association, Nuestra Senora de la Paz Buen Viaje Parish, Cavite State University (Andang), Saint Alphonus Liguori Integrated School (SALIS) and Inspire the Children (IC), the event will bring children’s books to life.

Messages from CCP Artistic Director Dennis N. Marasigan and Reverend Fr. Miguel R. Concepcion III will open this event.

Artists such as Sherald Salamat, Teo Baylan, May Dolis, Rommel Pamaos, Ricris Deposoy, Rene O. Villanueva, Ril Arguelles, Lorelie Albaran, Alejandro Abadilla and PJ Morante will be featured in the event. The groups of Cavite State University Faculty, Inspire the Chidlren, and Dulaang Caviteño will grace the stage.
