THE Cultural Center of the Philippines is pleased to announce the launching of the CCP Collections on Monday, 30th of November 2020, at 12 noon. The launch will be hosted by the CCP Facebook page.

The CCP Collections is an online catalogue of the center’s material effects consolidated from its various archives.

A work in progress, it will first make available records of footage of CCP productions and events taken from 2014 to 2020, and later, audio recordings, film and broadcast material, photos, publications, documents, artworks, and paraphernalia, collected since 1969.

As the CCP Collections expands its online inventory, researchers, artists, cultural workers, and the public, will be able to explore the vast collection through the use of different search filters.  Users will also be able to request digitized copies of the materials through an integrated content accessibility form.

During its launch, the CCP Collections will feature a suite of materials coinciding with the upcoming virtual exhibition of Ofelia Gelvezon-Tequi’s retrospective, organized by the CCP Visual Arts and Museum Division.  It will also showcase a sundry of folios and catalogues from the CCP Library and Archives. Items from both selections will be made available to download for free.

The CCP Collections aims to share with the public the center’s rich material culture and spotlight the individuals who have taken part in the making of our story.
