Revelations

An accompanying catalog of the retrospective of Jamie de Guzman’s (b. 1942) works at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Spanning a period of almost five decades, the exhibition features De Guzman’s landmark murals from the early 1970s and paintings that depict his personal views on social and ecological concerns as well as introspective representations of his own mythology and his identity. Also included are drawings and ceramic works that reveal the range of his artistic practice.
