Audiences will be immersed in the warmth of the holidays amidst the centuries-old walls and cobblestone streets of Intramuros, with Christmas Harmonies, a grand concert showcasing the timeless yuletide songs on December 13, 2025, at 7pm, at Foro de Intramuros. The show is free and open to the public.
Set against the enchanting backdrop of the Walled City, this festive event is the final installment of the Intramuros Evenings series, bringing together local artists and choirs to perform classic and contemporary Christmas tunes that evoke the spirit of joy, hope, and unity.
Featured performers are select winners of the Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival: Letran Singing Ambassadors, Koro Ilustrado, Far Eastern University Chorale, and Eastern Chamber Singers.
Letran Singing Ambassadors will perform their renditions of Basil Valdez Medley, Kampana ng Simbahan, Itulog Pa ba (Arr. by Anthony Villanueva), Kumukutikutitap (National Artist Ryan Cayabyab), and Pasko Na Naman (Arr. by Fidel Calalang Jr.).
Koro Ilustrado will sing Magpuri (Arr. by Hontiveros and Anna Piquero), Mary Did You Know (Arr. by Jack Schrader), Jingle Bells (Arr. by Kirby Shaw), Pasko na Sinta Ko (Arr. by Anna Piquero), and Krismas Na (Arr. by Anna Piquero).
Far Eastern University Chorale will tune in with A Christmas Carol (Music by Leslie Bricusse from the movie Scrooge and arr. by Ryan Cayabyab), The First Noel (Arr. by Dan Forrest), Namamasko (Arr. by Ily Matthew Maniano), 12 Days of Pinoy Krismas (Popularized by Apo Hiking Society and arr. by Bing Rio-Pablico), and Munting Sanggol (Music and Lyrics: Ryan Cayabyab).
Eastern Chamber Singers will take the stage with Gumising (Arr. by Anna Piquero), What Child is This (Arr. by Greg Gilpin), Golden Hunters (Arr. by Julius Teodoro), Noypi, and Pasko Na Naman/Paskong Anung Saya (Arr. by Anna Piquero).
Under the baton of choral conductor Anna Tabita Abeleda-Piquero, the four choral groups will unite to present Gaudete (Arr. by Ian Gabriel Corpuz) and Christmas in Our Hearts (Arr. by Anna Abeleda-Piquero).
Christmas Harmonies is directed by CCP Artistic Director Dennis N. Marasigan, with Ana Abeleda-Piquero as musical director and conductor, Ian Gabriel Corpuz as music arranger, Ricardo Eric Cruz as set designer, and TJ Ramos as sound designer. Louie Alcoran takes the technical direction, with production managers Sandra Victoria Javier, Nikki Garde-Torres and Marie Berenice Hervas, stage managers Rafa Lubigan, Christian Mikee Ricafort, and Jianna G. Velasco, and voice over by Odette Galura.
