CCP and The Manila Times Promote Filipino Art

May 9, 2025 | Press Release

The Cultural Center of the Philippines and The Manila Times Publishing Corporation recently signed a partnership to promote insights relevant to the country’s arts and culture scene using the latter’s media platforms.

The CCP’s flagship events are now able to reach broader audiences monthly through articles on print, on the web, and on social media. The scope pertains to columns by CCP leaders on the artistic and cultural industry, as published every first and third Sunday of the month in Manila Times’ Arts Awake or Lifestyle Section.

To jumpstart this initiative, CCP President Kaye C. Tinga has written about “The dual value of arts and culture”, while CCP Board of Trustee Junie del Mundo has shared his insights on “How the CCP shapes the Filipino identity.”
