DESCRIPTION

The Chamber Music Concert season of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) comes to a close with a contemporary classical piece titled “Colors for Trombone” by the Belgian composer Bert Appermont. Colors for Trombone is a concerto originally written for solo trombone and concert band, in four movements, each based on a color (Yellow, Red, Blue, and Green) characterizes a typical musical quality.

This virtuoso piece for trombone will be performed by PPO trombonist Ricson Poonin, with Mary Anne Espina on the piano. Discover and enjoy the beautiful and expressive tone of the trombone in this chamber concert and experience the intimate beauty of classical chamber music in the PPO Chamber Music Concert series!
