DESCRIPTION:
The CCP presents another important milestone in the art community in April through the PAEA Festival. Entitled Ammungan, the Gaddang word for “gathering”, the festival will consist of exhibitions, film screenings, and a whole-day art buffet session for children.

The exhibitions may be viewed until 28 April. The first exhibition, entitled 6 to 16 and held at the Bulwagang Carlos V. Francisco (Little Theater Lobby), is an all-inclusive display of artworks by students from all over the Philippines, which were taught and mentored by PAEA members. The second exhibition in the Pasilyo Vicente Manansala (2F Hallway Gallery), and Pasilyo Guillermo Tolentino (3F Hallway Gallery) presents a timeline of the history of PAEA with selected artworks by past presidents and archival materials.

Two film screenings will be held on 26 April at the Tanghalang Manuel Conde. Benjie Garcia's Batad (2006) will be shown at 2pm and Joel Lamangan's Patikul (2011) at 5pm. These screenings are free of charge and are made possible with the help of the CCP's Film and Media Arts Division.

PAEA's anniversary celebrations will close with a special Art Buffet session on 28 April, from 9am-2pm at the Main Theater Lobby. This will consist of free simultaneous art workshops to be given by PAEA members to all visitors.

Exhibit viewing hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm (and until 10pm on days with evening performances at the CCP Main Theater).
