DESCRIPTION:

After 10 years, the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Manila will once again serve as the Philippines’ staging area for Earth Hour 2018. Organized by WWF, Earth Hour is the world’s largest environmental movement, urging people to switch off non-essential lights for 60 minutes as a symbolic action to protect our planet and its biodiversity from the imminent threats of climate change. WWF-Philippines is tapping into CCP’s cultural heritage and artistic energy to drive awareness and promote solidarity for its various environmental causes. On March 24, Filipinos from all walks of life will converge at the CCP grounds to #Connect2Earth in a festive night of meaningful celebration to honor our planet as our home.
