The Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival, Manila, 2013 is at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the world renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, its resident choral group. The first international choral competition in the Philippines honors National Artist for Music, Andrea Ofilada Veneracion, founder of the Philippine Madrigal Singers. The festival gathers Filipino and foreign choirs who will compete in the Folk Music, Chamber Choir, and Vocal Ensemble categories. Five internationally known choral conductors from the following: North and South America, Europe, South Africa, and the Philippines, will comprise the competition jury.
