The Cultural Center of the Philippines and the Association of Pinoyprintmakers will be hosting a special event to honor Manuel Rodriguez, Sr., a pioneer of Philippine contemporary printmaking and founder of the Philippine Association of Printmakers. After his death in May 2017, at age 105, his family decided to bring his ashes from the US to be buried in Cebu this January. The event at the CCP serves as an occasion to gather his colleagues, friends and members of the visual arts community to pay tribute to him for his significant contribution in the field of printmaking.

Isang Paggunita sa Buhay, Sining at Ambag sa Malikhaing Paglilimbag ni Mang Maning, will be held on January 13, 2018, Saturday at 3:00 in the afternoon at the CCP Main Theater Lobby.
