POSITION/TITLE: Senior Culture and Arts Officer; SG-18; Item # 35

 

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education :  Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Experience :  2 year of relevant experience

Training :  8 hours of relevant training

Eligibility :  MC 11 s. 96 Cat. II *

*(Civil Service Eligibility obtained by completing one year of Very Satisfactory service under temporary status)

 

PREFERENCES:

  1. Degree in Arts and Social Sciences, Business Management, Public Administration, Arts and Design, Education

  2. Substantial experience in working with the arts or cultural communities.

  3. Linkages with number of public and private organizations and institutions in the regional, local and international levels

  4. With training in arts management, production management, events management, project management, technical theater or any relevant trainings.

  5. With knowledge in Philippine government procurement system.

  6. Proficient in oral and written communication skills.

  7. Good people skills, customer service, planning and organization, problem solving and decision making, networking, leadership, time management, and arts management skills.

  8. Creative and innovative, with attention to details, and knows how to multitask.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Artist Training Program Implementation

 

The ability to manage and supervise the implementation of the arts and culture programs of the Center through the provision of cultural exchange programs in local, national and international levels.

 

  1. Provides technical support for the planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the programs and activities of the department specifically the touring, community outreach and Service Request Program.

  2. Facilitates the technical theater requirements of the departmental programs and activities of the regional organizations under Service Request Program.

  3. Coordinates with various organizations (local, national and international) and concerned units in CCP for efficient and effective program implementation.

  4. Initiates measures to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the Center’s cultural exchange programs.
